Crimson Butchery are a death metal band from Kilkenny and they're as heavy as it gets. The band features John Roche on guitar & bass with Shane "Red" Corcoran providing vocals that Satan himself would be proud of. You might have noticed that I didn't mention a drummer. That's because they use programmed drums and also something that you wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't mentioned it.
Crimson Butchery have just released their second album called, Violence By Design. It's a stomper of an album from start to finish with each track taking you on a journey to hell and back as if you're on a death metal roller coaster. If you like death metal then you'll love Crimson Butchery. I like the consistency of their approach. There's no nonsense or attempt to cross genres which a lot of bands do. Crimson Butchery are here to butcher your brains and they do it well. They leave a bloody mess and you'll love it. Check out my favourite track from the album, Senseless Brutality.
